Dry Brushing 101 “Let Your Skin Glow”

Have you ever heard of dry brushing? Dry brushing is an excellent way to keep your skin looking and feeling magnificent. This simple process can unclog pores, exfoliate the skin, increase blood circulation and promote lymph flow/drainage - all in one!

Dry brushing can help detoxify the skin by aiding in sweat production, which then helps your body rid itself of toxins. It does this by stimulating circulation and allowing better access for sweat to be produced and toxins to be released from your system. Dry brushing also helps loosen any dirt or bacteria stuck deep within the pores, which can clog them up over time. By doing this regularly, it's easier for sweat and natural oils to flow freely on your skin and keep it hydrated and healthy-looking.

One way to start dry brushing is with a soft brush or loofah. You should use long strokes, always brushing towards your heart in a circular motion on areas such as the arms, legs, chest, stomach, neck and back. After each session make sure to apply lotion or oil to seal in the moisture that has been opened up during dry brushing.

It's best to perform dry brushing at least twice a week - once every other day if you'd like extra exfoliation benefits - for optimal results. The increased blood flow that comes along with dry brushing not only keeps the skin looking healthy but will also improve its texture overall. So go ahead and give dry brushing a try today - you won't regret it!
